Elizabeth Yohannes, born in Chicago to Eritrean heritage and raised in Metro Detroit, attended Oak Montessori and Cranbrook Schools before graduating from Howard University. Her academic journey included time as a Laureate Scholar and active involvement in honor societies and service organizations. Over the course of her career, she launched initiatives such as Atlanta's African-Americans in Media, Yohannes Media Group, and Where 2 Go! Worldwide, and has served as a consultant for Fortune 100 companies as well as small to mid-sized businesses.
After becoming a mother, Elizabeth’s daughters, London and Lennox, inspired her to pursue certifications from Harvard, Stanford, and the International Sports Sciences Association as an Early Childhood Development Specialist, Nutritionist and Personal Trainer to create holistic programming for families with young children. She later expanded her mission to also support families and small business owners financially by pursuing licensure as a financial planner, offering long-term security alongside wellness. This evolution sparked a shift in her focus toward creating H.E.A.L. World School, where education is woven into the shared experiences of families and communities, creating a fun and supportive environment for learning. Elizabeth is profoundly grateful to embark on this journey alongside London, Lennox, the families involved, and the businesses that support the mission.
At H.E.A.L. World School, the focus is on providing foundational resources for children, while offering opportunities for growth through hands-on, real-life experiences. Elizabeth believes that education is a powerful tool that can never be taken away, and that exposure to diverse experiences helps children uncover their passions, discover their purpose, and unlock their full potential.
